In addition to running the ministry and business entities alongside her husband, Bishop Frank Summerfield, Sr., Pastor JoeNell Summerfield has co-authored How to Make Your Marriage Produce Fruit, Why Relationships and Families Fail, and Singles, Prepare Before You Say I Do, among other best sellers. Together, they have raised four children, all of which are active in the ministry: Minister of Music, Elder Frank Summerfield, Jr., COO, Elder Mitchell Summerfield, Human Resources and Payroll Director, Elder Valisha S. Fowles, and Youth Minister, Joshua Summerfield.

 

Office of the General Overseer
The office of the General Overseer is recognized within the Word of God fellowship as one that provides, to the membership in general and the leadership in particular, God-given direction to accomplish the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18–20) given by the Lord Jesus Christ. The General Overseer, has freedom to exercise her spiritual giftedness and realize the potential for ministering as the Holy Spirit directs. Her selection is in accordance with the one-accord principle.
